How Can Surge Protection Work?

Power surges are impossible to forecast, their causes including abrupt voltage spikes, electricity supply faults, faulty family appliances, along with thunderstorms. In certain situations, even a little power surge may wreak havoc on your electrical systems, damaging them beyond repair.

This excess current is then safely diverted through the extra earth wire, directly into the floor.
